System and API integrations

Your needs

Reliable data exchange starts with clear rules.

Get the right information flowing between your software.

Your tools may hold different versions of a customer, stock level or order. Before connecting systems, we define where each piece of information is authoritative, when it should move and how discrepancies should be handled.

Connect existing tools

Exchange information between your website, CRM, ERP or external services.

Having an API does not guarantee every desired exchange. Available functions, permissions and usage limits need checking.

Avoid conflicting versions

Define which system may create or change each piece of data.

Two-way synchronisation needs conflict rules. We also define shared identifiers to recognise the same customer or product.

See failed exchanges

Identify information that was not transferred and allow recovery.

Technical errors and invalid data need different handling. Monitoring distinguishes what can be retried from what needs correction.

What we deliver

From data definitions to exchange monitoring.

01

Interface review

We review documentation, access and representative data. For a CRM or business platform, we identify the records and operations to share.

  • Sources, destinations and permissions
  • Constraints and exchange frequency
02

Connection development

We implement field mappings, transformations and exchanges. Flows that consolidate information for analysis may involve additional data pipelines.

  • Field mapping and validation
  • Duplicate handling and recovery
03

Monitoring and handover

We prepare logs, alerts and maintenance guidance. Dependencies and technical access are documented to support ongoing operation.

  • Alerts and diagnosis
  • Data flow documentation
How we work

Check capabilities before connecting.

We validate a representative exchange before expanding the scope.

1. Define exchanges

List the data, its direction of travel and the authoritative source.

Deletions, status changes and historical data are also part of the scope. Missing them can create discrepancies after launch.

2. Test connections

Check normal exchanges, duplicates and interruptions.

We test with representative data and volumes. Recovery should avoid creating the same order, contact or action twice.

3. Activate and monitor

Bring flows into service and check their ongoing operation.

Third-party software may change interfaces or access conditions. The agreed support should cover incident detection and necessary adaptations.

Your questions about system and API integrations

Can software without an API be connected?

Sometimes, through exports, imports or other mechanisms supported by the software. We assess the reliability, frequency and maintenance of each option. Missing interfaces may limit exchanges or make automation unsuitable.

Can data sync in real time?

That depends on the tools and the need. An event may trigger an immediate exchange, while other systems require scheduled processing. We define an acceptable delay and how to handle late updates instead of assuming every connection is instant.

How do you handle duplicates and errors?

We define identifiers, matching rules and checks before writing data. Errors are logged and routed to automatic recovery or intervention. Rules depend on the impact of a duplicate or a missing exchange.

How is this different from workflow automation?

Integration connects software and its data. Workflow automation organises steps, decisions and approvals across those tools. One project may include both, but a connection alone does not define the whole business process.
